With the nation’s census occurring on April 1, 2020, it is important that people with disabilities and their families are ready to be counted.
Every 10 years, everyone in the United States is counted through the census. The gathered census data affects many key things, so it’s vital that everyone be counted. Census data is used to know the funds state and local governments get for education programs, Medicaid, and housing vouchers. Bottom line … Census 2020 is important, so be counted!
