Kristin was born and raised in Arlington, VA. After high school, she attended Virginia Tech, where she obtained her BS in Family Financial Planning and met her husband. She worked briefly in Richmond for Ameriprise, then returned to the mountains to live in Covington with her husband. There, they were blessed by the birth of their first son who has Spina Bifida and a Chiari II Malformation. He changed their lives forever with his complex medical needs and delightfully sunny disposition.
Kristin has spent the last eight years focused on advocating for her son's medical, developmental, and educational needs. She has since returned to the Richmond area and currently lives in Chesterfield, VA with her husband and three beautiful children. Kristin is excited to be part of the At Home Your Way team, helping them to provide the care, support, and resources that those with disabilities and their caregivers need.
Karen lives in the Shenandoah Valley with her husband and two children. She became involved in the world of childhood disabilities late in her pregnancy after discovering her daughter would be born with a rare genetic disorder. At Home Your Way was instrumental in helping her family navigate the world of waivers and has continued to provide vital assistance. With her background in both payroll and human resource departments for several companies, this position was a natural fit when returning to work full time.
In her free time, Karen is involved in teaching yoga to children with special needs and assisting special needs children in the world of scouting.

Vicki is now looking forward to partnering with AHYW as part of the financial team and looks forward to the growing and learning opportunities this will offer.
